What is the definition of "first time home buyer"?

The Ministry of Finance of Ontario defines him or her as "an individual who is at least 18 years of age and who has never owned an eligible home anywhere in the world and whose spouse has not owned an eligible home anywhere in the world while he or she was a spouse of the individual".
